🧠 Что такое предлоги?

Предлоги — это маленькие слова, которые показывают связь между словами в предложении.

Они могут показывать:
📍 место
🚶 движение
⏰ время
🤝 отношения

Самое важное: предлоги могут полностью менять смысл предложения.

look at — смотреть
look for — искать
look after — заботиться

👉 Поэтому их нельзя просто переводить — их нужно понимать и запоминать.

Это три самых важных предлога места. Очень грубо, но полезно думать так:

Когда что-то внутри пространства.

in a room

in a city

in a country

🔵 on

Когда что-то на поверхности .

on the table

on the floor

on the screen

🟢 at

Когда мы говорим о точке или месте как о понятии.

at work

at school

at the door

at the bus stop

💡 Очень полезная логика:
in = внутри
on = на поверхности
at = в точке / в месте как в идее

Например:
I’m in the kitchen. → я внутри кухни
I’m at the restaurant. → я в ресторане как в месте назначения / точке

🚶 Предлоги движения

Главная идея:

in — где?
into — движение внутрь

I am in the room. — я в комнате
I go into the room. — я захожу в комнату

То же самое:

on — где?
onto — движение на поверхность

The cat is on the table.
The cat jumps onto the table.

💡 Самое важное: to — просто направление

go to school
go to the park
go home (без to!)

Разница:

through — сквозь (внутри пространства)
across — через (по поверхности)

walk through the forest
walk across the road

Некоторые глаголы всегда идут с определённым предлогом .

❗ Это нельзя “логически вывести” — это нужно запоминать как готовую фразу .
